Know Before You Go

  • Food that Rocks takes place at City Springs and is an outdoor event. Dress comfortably and come to enjoy the food and music.
  • NO SMOKING
    For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, smoking is not permitted.
  • Take Uber or Lyft!
    The Uber/Lyft drop off/pick-up is at 237 Johnson Ferry Road (the corner of Johnson Ferry Road and Blue Stone Road).

For one night only, some of Sandy Springs' favorite restaurants will be rocking the big tents in Sandy Springs City Green in the heart of Sandy Springs. This all-inclusive event will provide you with food, wine, beer and cocktail tastes from local mixologists, live music, and will benefit the Community Assistance Center, Ian's Friends Foundation, Second Helpings Atlanta.

Charity Partners

Community Assistance Center

CAC brings together the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC works to prevent homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals. Supporters provide financial resources, in-kind donations and volunteer manpower.

You can help eliminate hunger in our community! Bring your food donations to Food That Rocks to support the Community Assistance Center (CAC) Food Pantry! The CAC pantry provides food to about 500 local families a month and receives an average of 2,000 visits a month! Most needed items include canned meats, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal and dried beans. For more information visit www.ourcac.org

Ian's Friends Foundation

Ian's Friends Foundation is committed to funding the support of pediatric brain tumor research.Their mission is to undertake and support initiatives at research institutions around the country that focus on developing new therapeutic methodologies for the treatment of pediatric brain tumors.

Second Helpings Atlanta

Second Helpings Atlanta's vision is to eliminate hunger in the Metropolitan Atlanta area by rescuing surplus food and delivering it to those in need. With a team of over 400 volunteer drivers, SHA serves as the link between a network of over 50 donors and the front-line agencies who feed the hungry on a daily basis.
